Bringing Nepal & India to Chicago

Our menu is inspired by the unique flavors of Nepal and India, offering you a taste of both worlds. Every dish we serve is carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional spices that capture the essence of these rich cultures. From hearty curries to fragrant rice dishes, each bite brings you closer to the mountains of Nepal.

The Little Sherpa is a Nepalese place that has a great combo of Nepalese and Indian dishes. This time we got the chicken tikka masala, pumpkin curry (so unique!), chana masala, and garlic naan. My mom doesn't do well with spicy, and the kitchen was so accommodating by making the chicken and chana masala mild but still brining a little pot of homemade spicy sauce (essentially chili oil) for those who wanted the extra kick. I've also had their chicken fried momo and meat thali and both are SO good. Pricing is pretty typical for Nepalese/Indian food with most main dishes being about $14-$17 and there's always been enough for leftovers. Definitely a good place to bring lots of people for sharing! There's also tons of street parking right outside. The owner's family are sherpas from Nepal which is pretty cool, too! I've met the owner and his sister and both are just so, so nice.

Following our Sunday service, we held our church leadership meeting here. This place is cozy and clean. The food was delicious, flavorful, and tasty. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly. I would definitely come back here and try other dishes from their menu.

The food here is so good. The service is wonderful too. We were so sad when the previous Nepalese/Indian restaurant in this space closed, because we loved ordering out from them. The Little Sherpa is just as good, but with an upgraded dine in space. We dined in for the first time this evening and will definitely be back. I highly recommend. Definitely a new neighborhood gem.

My wife and I were looking for something to eat on our way home and we came across the little Sherpa. We dined in and enjoyed some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. Ram, the owner was so kind and gracious. It made it a great experience. Would highly recommend and we’ll be back!

Terrific food. Friendly owner. Hot and fresh. Delivered with a smile. It doesn’t look much from the outside but the meal we had here was outstanding.

I went here two days in a row! The food was great! I loved the Lamb Vindaloo, Keema (lamb) Samosa, and the Aloo Chop (potato patties). I really like the green chutney and the mango 🥭 Lassi! That Mango Lassi was sooooo good! The second time I went, I got the same thing because my mom wanted to try it, but for my order I thought I’d try something different. I usually like coconut so I thought I’d try the Lamb Madras, but it wasn’t for me. Will definitely be back!!!

My friend and I went to hiking at Labagh Woods and came back to try this restaurant. It was so amazing! The server knew their menu and their food. I loved my Butter chicken with garlic Naan. Steamed Chicken Momo we shared was also extraordinary. Rice pudding was so delightful after the meal. The whole experience was very satisfying. Wanna give extra star if allowed(*´∇`*)
